Cargotek was established at Trieste in 1999 with the goal of offering first class independent surveys and consultancy services to the shipping industry, cargo operators and insurance industry.

We are committed to combine an objective and professional behaviour – in accordance with the governing technical rules and standards, with the understanding of the commercial implications of our work and in protection of our Client’s interests.

The interventions are performed by experienced surveyors at high level of qualification: naval architect (graduated engineer), shipmaster and former manager of major inspection company and other selected partners, managed and led by Cargotek founders Mauro and Max Cernigoi.

We work for major P&I and H&M underwriters, Ship Owners, Charterers, Oil companies, Heavy industry Manufacturers, Classification and Accreditation societies.
